Child and Baby Sitting Safety The Program Provides
C A B S Fundamental Information In:
For young people (11 to 16 + years old) - Proper supervision
who are interested in providing baby sitting - Basic care giving skills
services and learning basic business skills. - Responding properly to ill or injured
children or infants
- Working with parents - Telephone safety - First Aid - CPR Skills
The Child and Babysitting Safety (CABS)
training program is designed to focus on
supervising, caring for,and keeping children
and infants safe in babysitting settings.
No Prerequisites But First Aid/ CPR Certification Strongly Recommended.
ASHI resuscitation programs for basic and advanced life support conform to national
standards and are based on the same scientific
guidelines and treatment recommendations used

(Less than initial instructional time)
Skills Evaluation:
Students must perform required skills competently
without assistance. Successful completion is based
on achievement of the core learning objectives
rather than a prescribed instruction time.
